1. Regular contact with the political and administrative systems.
2. Issue-specific interest pooling in the textile and clothing industry and in upstream and downstream industries (e.g. energy, innovation, reduction of bureaucracy etc.).
3. Close cooperation with the political and administrative systems on current affairs and concerns.
4. Improvement of the industry's position in the EU by creating networks and cultivating contacts in fields of current interest (e.g. innovation, environmental policy).
